Resident Associates Mildred Singler and Beverly Simmons have moved from the hilltop to new homes in Poughkeepsie area. Our love and best wishes go with them.

CSM Associates at St. Paul’s, K Street, Washington, DC, put together a long weekend retreat for their parish here over the Columbus Day weekend with Fr. David Bryan Hoopes, OHC leading it on the topic of Benedictine spirituality.

The Hartford area Associates and Phyllis Schneider also planned “one last retreat weekend” for themselves and any other Associates who wished to participate for the weekend of November 15. Our faithful Associate and single-handed promoter of classic retreats, El Betts, had been part of these plans but moved to Georgia to be closer to family about a month earlier. Miyoko Barr brought her and daughter Lee for a last visit in late October.
