Glenna Gilger died on October 26, 2001, in Springfield, PA, after a short illness with a severe heart condition. She was received as an Associate on February 2, 1994, and was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, Springfield. She had recently retired from her work as a consultant in medical malpractice insurance. Alma Harter died on October 30, 2001, in Morrison, CO. She was received as an Associate on November 23, 1980. A teacher, her interests were music, children and story-telling. Alma had a love for animals, and in 1990 the Staten Island Zoo where she was on the Board of Directors named their animal hospital the Alma Harter Animal Hospital. Deacon Edith R. Van Schoickdied on December 5, 2001. She had been an Associate since June 16, 1944. She was a rehabilitation counselor for the Office of Vocational Services in New York State, and had worked at St. Mary’s in the Field, Valhalla. |
