Glenna Gilger died on October 26, 2001, in Springfield, PA, after a short illness with a severe heart condition. She was received as an Associate on February 2, 1994, and was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, Springfield. She had recently retired from her work as a consultant in medical malpractice insurance.

Alma Harter died on October 30, 2001, in Morrison, CO. She was received as an Associate on November 23, 1980. A teacher, her interests were music, children and story-telling. Alma had a love for animals, and in 1990 the Staten Island Zoo — where she was on the Board of Directors — named their animal hospital the Alma Harter Animal Hospital.

Deacon Edith R. Van Schoickdied on December 5, 2001. She had been an Associate since June 16, 1944. She was a rehabilitation counselor for the Office of Vocational Services in New York State, and had worked at St. Mary’s in the Field, Valhalla.
