All of your Christmas greetings and annual newsletters were most welcome, and we thank all who have visited and written.

New Associate: The Very Rev. Marshall J. Vang, Dean of All Saints Cathedral in Albany, was received at Vespers on Dec. 7, 2000, by Father Simmons.

Some news of general interest:

Andrew Way and his family have moved from Connecticut to Rhode Island, where he continues to work for United Way.

Jane Frederickson is in process of selling her home in Sarasota, Florida, and building a small house near her children, both of whom also live in Florida.

Father William Duffey was appointed and installed in December as Dean of the Merion Deanery in the Diocese of Pennsylvania.

Carolyn Ross has been quite ill and now has a specially trained companion dog, Ian, a large golden Labrador / mastiff, to help her. She and Ian (he never leaves her) were able to spend some time at the Convent at Christmas, and his energetic tail did not interfere at all with the Christmas tree.

Sister Laurian Seeber and her mother have moved from New York back to Barre, Vermont. Sister is kept busy renovating the house, caring for her mother, and assisting as she can at Christ Church in Montpelier. We were happy to see her for the February 16-19 retreat.

Mina Weiler has been recovering from serious surgery she had in October, and was hoping to return to her teaching position after Christmas.

Sue Voorhies made her temporary vows to her Bishop as a solitary Religious. Her priest and parish of St. Thomas, Camden, Maine, support her in this oblation.
