St. Mary’s Healthcare System NewsOn January 22 the Sisters hosted the Executive Staff of St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children for a post-holiday Tea. An opportunity for the Sisters to renew friendships with individuals they have worked closely with over the years and to meet new staff, the party was also the first opportunity for our Novices, Sisters Georgina and Patricia Taonga, to learn about the work done through our hospitals and community-based programs. The following Saturday Sisters, Mary Elizabeth, Georgina and patricia Taonga participated in the annual Healing Service at St. Mary's Hospital for Children. Led by Hospital Chaplain Michael Maroutsis, a Deacon in the Greek Orthodox Church, and by Roman Catholic Priest Associate Fr. Joseph Wilson, the service offered anointing and prayers for healing the children. |
