Shirley Casale died July 4, 2001, in Southington, CT, after a long illness. A retired nurse, she was 75 and had been an Associate since 1959. Her husband Carmen died in May of this year; the couple are survived by two daughters, a son, and four grandchildren. We are especially grateful to their daughter Michelle Sabree for keeping us informed about her mother. The funeral was held at St. Paul’ s Church, Southington, and a Requiem Eucharist was celebrated at the Convent.
