Associate News

The Rev. Daniel Moore was received as an Associate on July 21 by Father Dennis Pressley at the Convent. Father Moore is the rector of Trinity Church, Gouverneur, NY.

The Rev. William (Bill) Love was also received at the convent during Mass on July 21. Active in the Healing Ministry at the SLC, Father Love is rector of St. Mary’s Church, Lake Luzerne, New York.

In August Associate Betsy Siegmund came to live at the convent, helping out in the day-to-day operation of the house and generally being a “Mom” to all the Sisters. Betsy is a retired administrator of the George Washington University Medical Center and a parishioner of St. Paul’s, K Street.

On October 8, Joy Murorunkwere of Christ Church, Rockville, MD, was received as an Associate by Father Wayne Bowers. Joy is a native of Rwanda and works as an early childcare worker in the Washington, DC, area.

Associate Linda Wilson was ordained priest by Bishop David Bena on Sunday, October 23 at St. Paul’s, Bloomville, New York.
